The newest ToB song and recording (built off a short demo of Kevin England's from early 2021), Hiding also boasts what is undoubtedly the band's darkest lyric, alluding to feelings of pointlessness, hopelessness, irrelevance and insignificance that can come when one gets older and realises that 'life got in the way' and time slipped by without the hopes and ambitions of younger years coming to pass.

To varying extents, the sentiment expressed in Hiding is something of a recurring theme in Keiron Metcalfe's lyrics. However, whereas older songs might balance the negative aspects of the sentiment with a determined resolve to keep pushing on and/or the sense of there still being time, there is no such 'light at the end of the tunnel' with Hiding, only cold realisation and honest acceptance.
