Originally written in 1995, I Said Nothing remains virtually unchanged from the original arrangement that was played live in the 90s.

Essentially, the song is about doubt and insecurity, with the lyric (written by the 21-/22-year-old Keiron Metcalfe) being a conversation between the singer and his doubts as he tells himself everything's fine and his doubt telling him he's a fool before he then succumbs to that doubt in the chorus.
